KPMG — Benefits Application Tool

KPMG creates tools that it can then offer its clients as part of its services. In this instance, they determined they could create value by building a tool that state and local governments could use to better serve citizens in need. A junior designer and I were tasked with creating an engaging application experience based on over 500 potential questions using the Salesforce Omniscript and Lightning Web Components and to do it all before the big convention they wanted to present at in 5 weeks. I led our little team to first create assumption-based personas for direction, then to absorb and rationally categorize the 500+ questions. I then began work on wireframing and validating with the larger team while providing creative direction for the other designer as she began creating pages based on my wires and the LWC. The result was the development team had a clear set of designs, rooted in Salesforce components and all in time for the big conference reveal!
